First, we change inside in the right direction, and then we do the work to get what we want.
And if we want lasting changes in our life, we should do the right things, regardless what every day.
Habits leave glue!
When I had done all these great Psycho and Spirit groups, I recognized that most of all people are too lazy to do the exercise/meditation every day. After some weeks, the old ego is coming back, and the people could not change their life… For what they have spent a fortune to go to the best therapists and spiritual teacher?
The practice of the exercise, wisdom is much more valuable than to go to such workshops….
We need a strong reason to change our life or to change our environment. And this reason gives us the drive…
First, we look for the most empowering reasons, make a list and stick to it. Imagine the reasons every day why we want to transform our life or why we want that outcome.
Sometimes it needs very much time to get the results and to quit, give us not our desired results. Or we get after a long time try and error the results and stop because we are too lazy to continue…
We should promise us, never to break any promise that we give to anybody. After practicing to keep our promises we can promise us to keep our promise to ourselves. And this is the game changer.
When I keep all my promises regardless what, I never will give up too early or for instance stop to live a healthy life.
As a real teacher, we have to practice that we teach every day…
A mother was coming to Gandhi and asked him, can you command my kid not to eat any sweets anymore? Gandhi said, come back in 2 weeks with your son. After 2 weeks, Gandhi said to her son, Don’t eat any sweets anymore. The mother asked when she was alone with Gandhi, why you could not say it directly, for what I had to wait 2 weeks? Gandhi said I had first to promise myself to stop eating any sweets anymore and after 14 days I had enough confidence to command your kid to do the same.
