Is it possible to be selfless?
We all are doing everything out of our self interest, be it good or bad.
If we have done a good deed then many brag for doing the good thing.
The bible is saying: There exist inner and outer prayer, the inner praying is done for God and the outer praying is done for the people in order to get likes, love.. If we brag with something that we have done selflessly then this is never be selfless. The true selfless worker is doing it, even without mention it. Just do it.
If I help other people then just out of fun… I don’t expect something back, because I had my fun to help….
An example, If I see an accident, if I would not help I would feel very bad about me… So it is a must to help. Imagine it is night, a woman is staying with her kids on a remote highway with a flat tire. Would you help?
After the Tao: first help yourself and do the things at best what you should do. Then you help your spouse, kids, parents… relatives, friends and is there still more you help your community, country, the world. My mentor Mel Abraham said: Do the good where you are, instead of looking somewhere outside to do good. This will help also your business grow, influence grow… Life is simple, if it is complicated we make it complicate!
