After the study, 50% of our consumed fish is now farm raised. Until 2030 it will be 75%.
China produces 70% of the farmed fish.
What is if our farmed fish is poisoned?
First, we look what the farm fishes are consuming. Because, if the farmed fish food is with poison we consume that poison when we eat that fish.
The farmed fishes eat:
1.) contaminated fishmeal,
2.) Antibiotics (Through the Antibiotics in the fish our immune system weakens, and so our body becomes more antibiotic resistance. Every year our Antibiotics drugs have to increase the doses and so the side effects increases. And it leads to a fast-growing Antibiotic allergy.)
3.) Pesticides are poison for our whole body.
4.) Organochlorines (damage the endocrine system, immune system, and brain)
5.) Dyes.
How will harm the fish farms in our environment?
A.) The fish-farms pollute our water and oceans.
For instance: The new Fish farm in San Diego/California will produce 5000Tons on fish and will contribute to 5000Tons fish waste in the Ocean…
This fish waste will also spread diseases and produce toxic algal blooms and sea lice. The Fish waste will kill endangered species like Blue whale, sea turtle.
B.) For one 1Kg farmed fish we need 2Kg wild fish.
What is with our fishing industry that catches the wild fishes?
The fish industry catches legal and illegal more fishes than the fishes can raise.
When we continuously keep our overfishing, then 2048 will be no fish anymore in our oceans.
It is nearly impossible to stop the Asians to overfish and to stop the world to pollute our Oceans.
Until our Oceans are not dead nobody can stop that madness.
If the Oceans becomes more and more polluted, so our wild fish becomes more contaminated, too.
For instance, in Southern Thailand, we see the scrimps farms are feeding Antibiotics to the shrimps, crabs, lobsters and a lot of the workers are in slavery. And so it is also everywhere in Southeast Asia that in the fishing branch are working slaves….
We have today 27Mill slaves, and that is more than in the last 4 centuries together.
In Thailand working 10% of the people under slavery (they mainly come from Burma) and most of the slavery is in the fish industry.
Can you live without eating fish?

Katrin
