My Audio on Podcast: RELAX WITH MEDITATION or see link in the end.

Our nature wants that the strongest survives. There is no compassion in nature.

Our mind is crafted to 90% from the animals. The animals don’t have so much compassion, they have a love for their children and friends, even many times more than human beings.

If we see the word com+passion, these means with(together)+passion, together we share our passion. Compassion is that we share our feelings with other individuals and that they feel their pain as our pain.

Imagine, an actor has to play sadness, how does he do it? He remembers a sad situation from his life, and he relives this scene in his play. And so is it with us. If we see suffering, our mind is remembering similar suffering from our past, and we relive our past as compassion to other individuals.

If we see children, some have compassion, and many don’t have. Many societies like that we have compassion, and so we train the children to have compassion.

Compassion is improving our ego, and so Buddha taught to cultivate compassion for all beings.

  1. It looks cruel if we see persons acting without having the compassion to get the things done. Sometimes this is necessary. However, we should not be like cruel animals or robots.
During hardships, compassion is a luxury.
  2. Because of we:
  3. Have first to care for ourselves, for our problems.
  4. Do not like to get more involved in new problems.
  5. Get fast back on track.
  6. Get rid of all unnecessary stress.
