Or how to inspire your team?
1.) How to start? The room should be comfortable and well temperated. We make sure that the auditorium is well prepared for the meeting. We start with an invitation or a question to engage the people.
2.) Repeat your message again and again from different perspectives so that it will be understood.
3.) Be well prepared but don’t stick to your script. Look after the needs of the auditorium and change your speech accordingly.
4.) Instead of making assumptions, what the people think and need… Ask … If we learn to listen instead to assume that we know everything we are in a much better place.
5.) Instead to be perfect be human and admit your mistakes. We build up trust much easier if we show how vulnerable we are and when we admit that we have done it wrong.
6.) America first? That Idea that everybody must do what you prefer will lead to isolation and to an unmotivated team. Instead, we look for the needs of the others so that they like to serve us. Give first and then you receive!
7.) If we only email our desires we never can build up good relationships. So we have to use all kind of Media to communicate and for sure personally works at best.
8.) If we have a vision we should communicate our vision with passion and make this standout. Boring speeches can never motivate the people.
9.) Speak so that everybody will understand you. Use a simple language and omit abbreviations or jargon that not everybody can understand.
