If we want to win we need the blessing, permission of the competing party.
If we see for instance the greatest sporter like Mohamed Ali, Jesse Owens…. or the greatest soccer coach Otto Rehagel… they went first to the competing sporter/ club and gave them a good time (Otto Rehagel even paid all the expenses for the competing club at the game)…. And then miracles happened… Because instead of enmity, they developed friendships and the tension and fear was gone.
An other example for business: IBM said even 50 years ago, they don’t compete, or they don’t have competitor, instead they try to work together with their competitor firms so that the company and the customer are winning….
If we are fighting against competing firms instead of to cooperate
we are living on a lonely island and fighting against our own enmities inside of our self which represents the competing firms. Exchange and synergy is what wins.
