Are our rules all necessary?

For what we have our rules? Are our rules really all necessary or harm they us?
After a research from Antonie Robbins: so less rules we have for our life, so more happy we are. There was a father who had 11 children in a TV Show, he was asked, how he could manage to have so many children and still enjoying his life, he said: So less rules I have, so less my children can hurt me….
We have overtaken rules from our childhood, parents and teachers …. Do you think that these rules are still fitting to our today life? Many of these rules are simple shortcuts to decide fast, but not always right. And then we hurt and terrorize our environment…. And these rules never serve us, to live a happy life.
When I was 28 years old, all my girlfriends want to stop me, to say what I like. Then I said, you can say that you want and I can do this too… And still they have done it and then I left them…. For many people we need a manual for being together with them and this is so exhausting…. With their principle they want to force us, to do what they like. Morality is right for other people but never for them-self (Oscar Wild). For sure it is hard for everybody to accept different behaviors, habits that we don’t like; and still it is so profitable to do so. Then we can see the world from a different view. My Ki-Akido grand master said, if all the people are the same and so sitting on the same side of a ship, the ship will capsize…
How is it, if we unload us from unnecessary rules, because they harm us so much. So, at least every year, we have to free us from unnecessary rules.
We need some basic rules, here are my favorites: What I don’t like that people doing to me, I don’t do to other people. First comes God for me; every day: meditation, body exercise and healthy food. Then to accept and tolerate every year more….
What are your basic rules?
