The theory of Past Lives is that we reincarnate after we die in a new body… And that happens again and again until we get Moksha/Enlightenment.
In the Indian philosophies and religions exist past lives and in all the other religions doesn’t exist reincarnation or past lives…
The idea of reincarnation is to become better and better every life that we finally are getting Moksha/enlightenment…
In all the other religions exist only hell and heaven. If we have lived a good religious life, we ultimately go to heaven or we suffer in hell, in-between doesn’t exist anything…
If we think over all these religious concepts from the moneymaking perspective…
Selling dreams and delivering nothing… For money-making and marketing are these the best strategies to make money without delivering anything… I would call that cheating.
For instance, if you are drug addicted, then the monks are praying for you for money… And afterward, you have lost your money and you are still addicted!
The same is true when you die as a Buddhist, then there is a 28-day praying ceremony to bring your soul on the right path to find freedom… Only rich people can afford that…
Or if you give your priest everything that you own, when you die, then You will go to heaven, otherwise into hell, because of your past actions. And your family will be poor.
When I was a devotee of Bhagwan and from other gurus, we believed in reincarnation…
And we went to reincarnation therapists and found out through their sessions that we had been together in a previous life with our sisters, brothers, and parents in different relationships… For instance, our sister had been our wife, our father was an enemy…
And most of the time we had been well-known and rich figures in the past…
We joked in the Bhagwan scene about that, and questioned how many people had been Caesar, and Cleopatra in previous incarnations?
Still, when I was traveling for the first time to Kathmandu, I recognized Kathmandu as a place that I have known before, even though I haven’t seen photos from Kathmandu before…
A similar experience had my father in WWII when he arrived in a French city…
If we can connect to the wisdom of the universe we can experience all of these described before as a dream/vision…
So, we don’t need to have a past life.
I surrender my life to God, even without being in any religion, and I was never baptized in any religion.
I went/go the Sufi path unconsciously, so I am a Sufi. A Sufi is not thinking about Hell and Heaven. We should surrender our life to God, without calculating in advance to get anything in return from God.
