I have total faith?!
What does it mean?
I was in Boudha/Kathmandu… I have spoken with a Tibetan at this very holy Tibetan place… He said I don’t believe in religion, God, in these corrupt Rinpoches (high religious Tibetan, born as a divine incarnation) and I have total faith in the Dalai Lama….
For me is this a contradiction, that I have heard everywhere in the world and even in every area!
If I have faith that I reach my goal, for sure I have to make everything that is necessary to reach my goal. Otherwise, I don’t have faith to reach my goal.
The same is true, if I say I love you, this means unconditionally, regardless in which mood my darling is or what she is doing! Otherwise, it is just only an empty phrase…. It might sound great, it might compliment my spouse, still, it is only a bargain. I give you $10 and get one kiss back…and if you misbehave I never can love you again??? Or 80% of the diamond gifts are just for getting in bed with their spouse!!! (Sorry, to convince a customer to buy this diamond is to say: Your spouse will love you and will do everything with you!!!). Love includes every part of our darling!
If I say that I have faith in God/Allah/Existence, then I have also to surrender to my religion… Normally all this so called: I have faith in God … ends in tragedy. The strain of bad luck, injustice…and the faith is gone! Even worse most of this: I have faith in God; is proclaimed by people who even don’t have read the scripture, or pray… This means, don’t kid yourself. If we say that we have faith in God, we have also to surrender our life to God and for sure to be honest!!
I by myself was grown up as an atheist, not baptized… and total honest. This honesty is a sign to be religious… I had nothing to do with God and through my meditation and tantra practice, I had the fortune that God was coming to me!
Honesty is the most import part of having faith in God…. Without honesty, there is no faith!
