How to overcome Bad Consciousness

Bad Consciousness

With bad consciousness we can easily get extorted to do things we do not like to do. This bad consciousness comes from our childhood when our parents wanted us to do what we didn‘t like. It works very well for all authorities—at church, with a priest, friends, a chief, or significant others who demand something from us. Our bad consciousness is one of the worst habits we have that others can extort us with.

How can we come out of our bad consciousness? Commit to never using the bad consciousness to extort/convince someone. If someone is using it against you, simply smile and say, ‘This doesn’t work with me. You’re making me angry’, and if the person continues to harass you, repeat the above phrase. When this happens in our love relationship, we simply threaten with consequences. If our significant other doesn’t stop, we end the relationship.

If we have bad consciousness about sex and sex relationships, we apply EFT and/or attend Tantra groups. Another option is to make exact the things we have bad consciousness about. For instance, we have bad consciousness about having sex, and then we have sex until our bad consciousness about sex is gone.

Who is making us have a bad consciousness?

A child who is abused by their parents is a terrible thing. The genetic constitution was bad and/or the education of the parents had been bad. So, the child isn’t bad, but the parents are bad.
The self-righteous chief is complaining. If a firm is making big profit, then this was caused by the chief. If a firm is making big loss, then this was caused by the staff.
We are breaking our own rules; maybe we are too rude with ourselves, and then we have bad consciousness. We are not perfect, so we must forgive ourselves. People abuse us because they think that we have caused them to be angry even if there is no reason for it. We think we are not responsible for the feelings of others. Let the dog bark, because his inherent nature is to bark. From time to time, we are also dogs, so we forgive the angry person.
